I've been wanting to get MAC 'Saint Germain' but thought it looked too pale on me so I picked up 'Pink Nouveau' instead. It's a satin finish and a lot brighter in person, kinda like barbie pink. I also stopped by Rite Aid and found Revlon Matte in 'Pink Pout' which looks like a shade lighter.

Mini Haul: MAC 'A Rose Romance' Collection

Yesterday, I was able to snag some items from the new MAC "A Rose Romance" Collection before its release date which is I guess today? I only got a few items since i'm not really plannin on buying anything but the MUA talked me into it =/ Click photos to enlarge The rose detail design is too cute! i had to get it!!! $22 each Swatches Up Close Swatches from afar I wasn't really a fan of MAC nail polishes but I dont have this color yet. $11 I applied only one coat. Looks opaque yeah?It's cream finish. So pretty!

Mini Haul: Sunglasses + Makeup

Did a little shopping with the bf today. i love Nordie's Rack! Gucci Sunglasses Style: GG2794/S Original Price: $350 Nordie's Rack Price: $89.97 Again, the bF hated the style. I noticed that some things that we ladies find pretty doesn't always seem to be really appealing to men. Same goes with clothing style. We don't usually agree on the outfits i pick that's why most of the time i just get it without askin for his opinion. i don't think i dress that bad. I love fashion but i don't always follow the trend. Maybe men see beauty in a different way. Oh well, another trait of men i can't decipher =( So this leaves me with a question in my head, should i dress for the ladies (since ladies appreciate my style more)? or for my bF? Anywhoo, i also got my bf a Light Blue by D&G Fragrance for Men (not pictured) since his Acqua di Gio cologne is runnin low. My bf is very low maintenance and he doesn't have a vast collection of fragrances unlike yours truly =) Stopped by at MAC to check out new stuff. I haven't visited MAC in long time! I only got 2 lippies and an eyeshadow. How pathetic huh?? lol! And oh! I did get compliments from the MAC MUAs on my periwinkle nails =) On Hold Lipstick - cremesheen, midtone yellow raspberry Lollipop Loving Lipstick - glaze finish, clean midtone coral w/ subtle green w/ gold irridescence White Frost Eyeshadow - vivid bright white with icy shimmer SWATCH me CRAZEE!!! Review: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in 'Sin'

As described from the box, UDPP Sin is a primer potion in shimmering champagne color. It can be used alone or as an eyeshadow base. Works as great as the original UDPP only shimmery. I don't know about you, but I prefer my eyeshadows shimmery so this is an instant fave! The color is pretty close to MAC Stilife Paint. See comparison below:

As some of you may know, I am not a big fan of MAC Stilife paint so it's easy for me to pick UDPP Sin over it. COMPARED TO MAC STILIFE, UDPP SIN IS:

• darker in color
• dries faster
• won't crease (already expected since it's one of the best primers duh!)

I've been into neutral looks lately so this is perfect! Notice how it enhanced the color of the brown eyeshadows.

VERDICT: Need I say more? Go get it! The only hassle is getting every last drop of the product out of the odd shaped bottle. I wonder if I can just soak it in warm water like what Ricebunny did to save her lipglosses. It may not be as effective tho. But yeah, I need to stock up on this lol!
