I dressed as a Japanese School Girl at work for Halloween this year.  My co-workers thought I was a Sailor but I have Anime school girl in mind.  They were probably expecting plaid skirt "Catholic School Girl" style.  Well I think Japanese School Girl is more fun coz I get to rock the anime eyes.  Here are more close up pics...

Balmain-Inspired Blazer/Jacket Update

Hey luvlies! The Balmain-inspired blazer/jacket from Korea that I mentioned on my previous post arrived today. The power shoulders are not as 'strong' or prominent as I expected which turned out to be good because it would look weird on me since I'm not as skinny as those friggin models. Click photo to enlarge I actually like the fitting on my broad shoulders and the length on my short frame. It fits better than the Forever21 boyfriend blazers I've tried on. What do you guys think honestly? Is it worth the $65? The seller also included this yummy Korean candy that taste like Starburst but even better coz it doesn't stick to your gums heheh! I'm still on the hunt for the white blazer that I'm going to use for studding. I didn't like the boyfriend blazer from Macy's online which was too big and too soft material. I want a 'crisp' blazer. Ebay Haul (Asian Beauty Items)

I just purchased these items from ebay. I can't wait to get and review them! 1) Fringe Styling Clip For perfect side swept look for those stubborn bangs like mine. 2) Cele-Up Hair Inserts For princess style hair. Asian version of Bumpits (which i already have). From the photo, the difference is that it's wider and has longer gripping teeth compared to Bumpits. 3. Shills Dust-it Magic Hair Powder For volumizing fine limp hair like mine. I read good reviews about this. We'll see. 4) Schwarzkopf OSiS Dust-it Mattyfying Powder Another hair volumizing powder that's cheaper than Shills Dust-it Powder. This is easier to find online than Shills. I got both to compare which is better. Check out demo video below:

i'm in love with tights! Forever21 and ASOS got some cute ones but these ebay sellers got the best patterns from what i've seen so far. Those are the ones you see on ViVi Fashion magazines, Gossip Girl, and some celebs. Check out the ebay sellers: asiaphilic and yuyuste. I couldnt resist so i went ahead and ordered. My headband addiction started even before the 'Gossip Girl' craze and i blame Lauren Conrad of 'The Hills' for that lol! Btw, i got the acrylic headband holder from ebay seller modernsewing a bit pricey for $18.99 + $8.70 shipping. You can also get it at Azar Displays for $5.90 but you have to order a minimum of four.
